Added New Tracks (Work in Progress)
Hey everyone. I've added some of the tracks I've been working on lately. None of them are finished and I haven't even finalized the mixes or had them mastered. Just wanted to put up some stuff and see what you guys think of it. Hope you like them :)
#37 (Demo)
#37 is a song I have been working on. It isn't the single I've been talking about; the single still needs quite a bit of work and progress lately has been slow. #37 isn't finished, but I just wanted to upload it so that people could get an idea of what my music might sound like.
First Single Preparation
I am currently working with a friend to complete our first single. It's can be a daunting challenge, especially since we chose to add so many layers and sound effects to our first song. Protools can also be a complicated program to learn and I'm fast discovering that there are more stages in music production than I previously realized. First, you need an idea; then you need to take that idea and put it into something more physical. After you get that idea turned into something audible, you listen to it trying to figure out how to make it better, then after you get it all tracked out and the timing corrected for each track.Things need EQ'd and sound effects add to the tracks. The words need to make sense and have some kind of meaning that flows with the rhythm of the song. You need to adjust the sound levels to their perfect level. Then after all that, you need to master it and put it out into a format that people can listen to it. It's all marketing from there. Unless you decide in the future to make a re-mix of the song when you've learned better ways of making music. So hopefully we will be able to learn quickly from this process so that it doesn't take as long to put out some more songs.

Update: Still haven't finished the song... learning new things as I keep making music and I often abandon old projects to work on new ones. Need to get back to this song at some point to finish is up.

Construction Zone!
This site is currently under construction. I'm pretty excited about putting it together and getting my music out on the web in the near future. If you've come across this site and you like good music, check back a bit later and hopefully I'll be a little closer to completion.
